About Team Steve

Steve Siegel, the agent who heads up Team Steve Homes, specializes in helping people who are looking to relocate to the greater Sacramento area. Having relocated to the greater Sacramento area himself in 2001, he is well aware of the things a newcomer to the area needs to know in order to make the most intelligent, practical decision on location for a home purchase.

Here’s an example: Steve’s wife, Claudia, was on an airplane in September 2001, heading back to California. She and Steve had already decided that the Sacramento area would give them all the things they were looking for in coming back to California. But which part of the area? That was the unknown. Sitting across the aisle on that flight was a local and the two got to chatting. When the local person found out the purpose of Claudia’s trip, exploring the various areas of the Sacramento housing market, he gave her only one piece of advice: Choose Roseville because your utilities will be about a third of what they would be elsewhere. It took Steve and Claudia two moves within the Placer County communities to finally understand what that stranger meant. We now live in Roseville and the savings in electrical, water, sewer and garbage collection are substantial.

So if you are thinking about leaving wherever you are and coming here, let Team Steve advise you on the hidden values or hidden costs of selecting a city to settle in.

Here are your Team Steve experts and what they have in store for you:

Agent Steve Siegel

Team Steve is headed up by Steve Siegel, licensed real estate agent with Realty One Group in Rocklin, California. Steve has been helping folks just like you with real estate transactions of all kinds, all over the greater Sacramento area:

  • Relocations
  • Traditional Home Sales
  • Traditional Home Purchases
  • Short Sales
  • Foreclosures
  • Rental Properties – Duplexes and single residences

Steve has been active all through this real estate market, through its highs and lows, through the housing booms and the housing bubbles, and knows how to best position you to take advantage of today’s market conditions. No matter your situation, Steve has likely worked with someone in a similar, sometimes identical situation.

Steve served in the Navy Special Forces Ordnance Disposal Unit during the Viet Nam era. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. A professional sales person his entire life, he would like nothing more than to help you get the deal done, the right way, providing you with the attention and service you deserve.

Steve and his wife, Claudia (who is also his webmaster) live in Roseville, and have resided in prior years in Loomis and Lincoln. The Siegels are crazy about living in this greater Sacramento area, enjoying the proximity to so many great venues and activities.

People often ask Steve why he settled down in the Sacramento area over a decade ago. Here’s what he says:

“When my wife and I considered moving back to the west coast in 2001, we ran an analysis of all of the major metropolitan areas in California, Oregon and Washington. We had a long list of “must haves” and we spent months evaluating city after city.

We chose this area because it met all of our criteria, and we settled down in south Placer County, below the snow and above the fog! We still pinch ourselves every day for our intelligent choice. What were we looking for? A safe area with less congestion than the larger cities, a small and manageable airport for times when we travel, a climate where we could play golf every month of the year, affordable housing, and plenty of sunshine for a thriving home garden. And bridges you can cross without paying a toll!

Turns out the Greater Sacramento Area is a relocation choice for thousands of people, many of them relocating from the San Francisco Bay Area. The close proximity to Napa, Lake Tahoe, Gold Country…all within a short drive, make this an ideal mid-point location to settle down in.

Skiers can easily do “day trips” to the ski areas in Lake Tahoe. Boaters, rafters and kayakers can enjoy Lake Folsom and the thousands of miles of rivers in the California Delta. Wine enthusiasts can find award-winning local wines, and are within a short drive of the Amador County and Napa and Sonoma wine producing areas. Golfers play year-round here on the more than 52 area golf courses. Retirees find our area ideal, too. Within this real estate market there are four 55+ communities.”

Transaction Coordinator

Every successful Real Estate Agent needs a top notch Transaction Coordinator. Team Steve’s Transaction Coordinator is Julie Pedro and she is truly top notch. She supports your real estate transaction by making sure every deadline is met, every signature is obtained, all through the escrow process. What this means to you is that your transaction will not run into complications, which happens when deadlines are not adhered to. She’s smart as a tack and driven by meeting your needs. You may never connect one-on-one with Julie, but know that in the background, she is driving the process with precision.

Communications Manager

Managing the Team Steve Homes website is Claudia Siegel’s major function, in addition to creating materials to market your listings, helping to give your listing prominence on web searches and social media. She is determined to make the Team Steve Homes website an easy one for home buyers like you to search for homes for sale and receive notifications of listings. Let Claudia know what features or topics you would like to see included in this site. claudia.siegel@gmail.com.

The Realty One Group Professional Community

When you work with a Realty One Group agent such as Steve Siegel, you have the benefit of the entire community of Realty One Group’s subject matter experts and legal advice from Realty One Group.

Staging Consultant

If Steve believes your home would benefit from the help of a professional staging consultant, he will bring in Christine Gearing, an experienced, local professional staging consultant. This is a service that Team Steve Homes provides at no cost to sellers. A professional stager can advise you on how to re-arrange furniture to help rooms feel more open and expansive and give you guidance on how to make your home even more inviting than it is now. A stager can also give your gardener tips on how to spiff up your landscaping. Did you know, for example, that a lawn mowed on the diagonal makes your yard look larger and more elegant? It’s true.

Cleaning Service

Moving is tedious enough without having to do a thorough house cleaning before you move in or after you move out. Team Steve Homes has relationships with several professional, bonded, licensed cleaning services and will do the scheduling for you, and also meet with the service at your home so you don’t have to worry about orchestrating all of the details.

So as you can see, your real estate sale or purchase is supported by a team of experts. The entire Team Steve group wants to take as much of the worry about your buy or sale, because we all know it can be an emotional time. Let Team Steve attend to the details so you can focus on your family and what you need to do for yourselves.
